The FBI released today some 300 pages on Michael Jackson.
Much of it is a 200-page report from 1992 detailing a crazed stalker who threatened to kill President George H.W. Bush and commit mass murder. The stalker was obsessed with Jackson as well as John Gotti. He was eventually arrested.
The rest of it has to do with the attempt in 2003-06 by Santa Barbara District Attorney Tom Sneddon to try Jackson on child molestation and conspiracy. As everyone knows, Jackson was acquitted in June 2005 after 20 months of hell.
Interestingly, in this FBI file, the notes written indicate that nothing of note was found on Jackson’s computers to convict him.
There are also files from the 1993-94 investigation into child molestation. One interesting note from an FBI officer concerns a Toronto woman who worked in children’s services. She purported to have traveled on the same train as Jackson and his entourage to the Grand Canyon from Chicago. Jackson and his staff got in California and took four compartments. Accompanying Jackson was then-12-year-old Jordan Chandler. The witness said the two seemed extremely close, and that she was concerned about noises coming out of their compartment.
The report says that Jackson had with him a minor boy of 12 or 13 who was identified as Michael’s “cousin.” “Jackson was very possessive of boy at night,” wrote the officer. “(The witness) heard questionable noises through wall.”
But much of the FBI reports released today are adminstrative. Much of the material has been redacted so no names appear. Many of the pages are just copies of newspaper and British tabloid stories about Jackson, most of which weren’t true in the first place.

I don’t care what people want or choose to believe, it seems that this will only add to more fodder for everyone (especially tabloids) to chew on. Although FBI releasing info is normal, I was so hoping that the “MJ sensationalism” was dying down. Will the man ever be able to RIP?

Roger, you forgot to mention that one of the document’s shows that Assistant District Attorney Zonen (from Santa Barbara) traveled to New York to talk “Jordan Chandler into testifying against Michael Jackson.
Chandler not only told Mr.Zonen that he would not be testifying against Michael Jackson, he also told Zonen that if the authorities tried to force him to testify against Jackson, he would take LEGAL ACTION against them.
Now it’s not news to me that Jordan Chandler did not want to testify, but I had no idea he was threatening LEGAL ACTION against the Santa Barbara authorities if they tried to force him to testify.

Roger, MJ didn’t even know Jordan C. in 1992. The child can’t be him. It was most problably Brett Barnes or Wade Robson, both have always denied that MJ ever molested them.

I read these files,there is nothing in them that hasn’t already been reported in the tabloid trash years ago.They also say the so called evidence tape was dubbed over,apparent tampering and we all know who did it.SET UP in my opinion!We also know the ex employees lied out their butts,they weren’t exactly credible witnesses to start with.These files are TRASH and nothing more!

There was nothing in these files of note. In fact it shows the FBI ran into many dead ends and refused to attend meetings with LAPD and the prosecutors when the wanted to continue to pursue MJ.
What this shows me is that a whole lot of tax dollars were spent on frivolous investigations and that a innocent man was put through the ringer by a bunch of losers in the prosecutors’s office. Disgusting and appalling!
They should have to repay every tax dollar to the state of California!

I believe that Michael Jackson never harmed a child in his life. I believe that he was totally innocent of every accusation – not just “not guilty,” but INNOCENT.

There is nothing I would like more than to see Michael receive complete vindication of these accusations. We will never get that – but maybe the best we can hope for is this.
Numerous investigation completed by numerous agencies have been unable to produce any credible evidence against Michael Jackson. What I mean is this: This is not a case where there is evidence, but not enough to bring a case. This is a case where evidence simply did not exist.
I guess those of us who truly loved this man will have to settle for that.

I find the woman on the train hard to believe. As paranoid as Michael was about… well… everything, he would allow himself to be on a train with NO BUFFER ZONE between he and other passengers, particularly while doing unspeakable things to a child. Come one, even if you believe he’s guilty you gotta call BS on that. This is the same guy that had motion detectors outside his sleeping quarters and booked entire floors of hotels. I think not.

Just to add the above note, Brett Barnes has always maintained the MJ never touched him.
The fact that the SBPD, LAPD, DCFS AND the FBI spend years investigating Michael Jackson, were trying their utmost to find anything on him, even going so far as to use tabloid articles as sources, travelling all over the world to try and find possible “victims”, searching his house, his computers, his books, even his body, interviewing hundreds of children who had spent time with him, and after all that, they still couldn’t find anything to say Michael Jackson was a child molester. When they finally managed to find a family willing to testify against him, their stories and theories were so ridiculous and desperate that it was, I hate to say it… funny. You almost felt pity for the prosecutions side. They spend years going after this man, collecting whatever evidence they could find, putting more resources and money into this case than they do with serial killers, and this is the best they could come up with?! False imprisonment? Conspiracy? Like a kidnapping pedophile is going to let their victims take off with his credit cards, roam around the streets, get leg waxes, and visit their civil lawyers. And people sit and wonder why a jury acquitted this man and found him not guilty of all counts. LOL. I dare anyone try to commit a crime with the FBI on your tail and see how far you get. I think it’s safe to say that Michael Jackson was innocent all along. If the FBI can’t find anything, then there was nothing to be found.

Tatiana – if Jordan Chandler were to tell the truth, he might have to pay back the millions he got from MJ’s insurance carrier. And June might find herself facing criminal prosecution – you can’t tell me she wasn’t in on the plot. So unless one of them makes a ‘dying declaration’, or they find Jesus, don’t expect either one to own up to the conspiracy any time soon.

Jordan was approached in September 2004 to testify against Michael and he refused. At that time he was an adult and could do as he wished. The person mentioned in the FBI files is, in fact, Jordan Chandler. You can even count the type key spaces; they add up to J-O-R-D-A-N sp C-H-A-N-D-L-E-R.

No, the statute of limitations re contract fraud has tolled. Besides, if Jordan and/or June Chandler were to retract, that would be a benefit to the Estate of Michael Jackson. It’s only derogatory statements that are barred by the Confidentiality Agreement, which agreement is now voided by the death of Michael Jackson. If Jordan and/or June Chandler were to continue to tell lies about Michael Jackson, they would still be bound, but not if they retract.

Was no trial, they then sued him in a CIVIL SUIT because they Chandler family decided not to go to CRIMINAL trial and that was not because MJ was going to pay them out. They pulled out because their story didn`t match up and the only way to get something was to go for a Civil suit. That is a separate issue. That means that MJ has to be the one to prove he did nothing at all, even if they are guilty that is irrelevant. The other thing to note is that he didn`t want to pay and his insurance company forced him to pay. But the biggest thing that says to me that MJ is innocent is this and it is common knowledge. MJ has a gag order placed on him. With all the shit that the media has fed us WHAT COULD HE POSSIBLY SAY TO CHANGE ANYTHING. Doesn`t that make you think? Compare Michael Jackson’s case with Roman Polanski’s, and contrast their lives & treatment afterwards. Michael was ACQUITTED = FACT, not opinion. Polanski not only pled guilty, he compounded his crime by skipping the country.

Hello i’ve been enjoying the debate. what more can be said, all the evidence says he’s innocent. I believe he’s innocent. But I think even if Jordan came out and admitted he lied, people still wouldn’t believe it because MJ is such an odd-ball. I wouldn’t be surprised if Evan left a suicide note and the police threw it away.
