If ‘Inception’ is the most ‘manticipated’ movie, what about the women?

By: Philiana Ng   //   Tuesday June 15, 2010

Julia Roberts in "Eat Pray Love""Inception" whet the appetites of every man in America, winning the "Most Manticipated Movie" award at Spike's Guys Choice Awards earlier this month.

The pic has star power (Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, Cillian Murphy, Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt), a proven auteur (Christopher Nolan) and a mysterious premise going for it, but what about us girls?

Could it be that "Toy Story 3," "Eat Pray Love" (pictured) or "Tron Legacy" is at the top of the list for women? We can't really count the upcoming "Twilight" film because that would be too easy, so I dug around and came up with a list.

Al Gore + Laurie David = “Curb Your Enthusiasm” fodder

By: Andrew Wallenstein   //   Tuesday June 15, 2010

130546 Larry David 341x182

One can only imagine what Larry David might be thinking given the bombshell report coming out of Star magazine today alleging an extramarital affair between David's ex-wife, Laurie David, and former Vice President Al Gore. But is too soon to be suggesting what Larry should be thinking: this is perfect fodder for another season of his brilliant HBO comedy "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

After all, it's not like David hasn't mined his romantic life before for inspiration. It probably wasn't a coincidence in the sixth season when his character's wife left him on the show--not long after Laurie David did same in 2007.

Whether the report is true or not, is it too much to ask that David just rip up the scripts for the eighth season he's currently shooting (Ricky Gervais just signed on to appear in an episode) and just start from the beginning with this simple premise: How do you handle it when your ex-wife has taken up with the ex-Vice President? If Larry David can't dine out on that for another season, what else?

Larry, just think about it. No pressure.
